Villa Del Palmar Beach Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta

I had a rather mixed experience at this hotel. While the staff was exceptionally helpful, especially a gentleman at the pool, and I enjoyed some great meals at their Mexican nights, the overall service left much to be desired. My room was on the third floor with no elevator access, making it a bit challenging for older guests. Additionally, the buffet food was often cold and a little repetitive, which was disappointing.

I had a wonderful time at this resort! The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a great atmosphere for relaxation. The staff was exceptionally helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great stay. However, I found some aspects of the dining experience and amenities needed improvement. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for a peaceful getaway.

My stay was not without its challenges. I faced a rather aggressive sales pitch upon check-in, which was quite off-putting. The accommodations were decent but the service felt a bit lacking, especially considering the daily charges for maid service and mandatory tips on dining. However, there were definitely bright spots with deep-rooted loyalty from long-time guests and a welcoming atmosphere from some of the staff, like the pool concierge. Overall, while some amenities were enjoyable, the cons made the stay less than ideal.

The service was disorganized, and I faced issues with my car and room cleanliness. The food options didn't meet my expectations, and the overall vibe felt chaotic, especially with the overwhelming number of children around.
